Dyalog APL programming contest

2015 is the seventh consecutive year that Dyalog and other sponsors will run the Dyalog APL programming contest.

The contest was originally set up in 2010 to encourage Students to learn APL and that is indeed still the purpose. Since 2010 many new people have learned about the power of Dyalog APL.

Again this year, the contest is held in collaboration with www.Studentcompetitions.com and we have attracted huge interest. The latest statistics tells us we have had 9,156 unique website visitors with 1,727 Registrants.

As the deadline for submission is still due, we can't yet assess the number of submission that we will have to judge, but it looks to become an interesting process.

We encourage students at all levels of education, anywhere in the world, to participate. Non-students are welcome to submit solutions and may receive an honourable mention and a free registration to the Dyalog User Meeting, but proof of enrolment in a full-time educational program is required to win any of the cash prizes.

The deadline for submission is 16th July. The winners will be announced on 10th August.

If you wish to review - or indeed – have a go at solving some of the problems in the contest, you can get to them by logging in via, FaceBook, LinkedIn, Google+ or by setting up your own credentials. Visit our special Competition web pages to get started.

Have Fun!
