SQA.Init '' indicates no aplunicd.ini present
Greetings.
I have Dyalog 14.1 64 bit Unicode
I start a fresh APL session.
Then:
)load SQAPL
C:\Program Files\Dyalog\Dyalog APL-64 14.1 Unicode\ws\SQAPL.dws saved Fri Jul 24 18:21:10 2015
SQA.Init ''
0 SQAPL loaded from: C:\Program Files\Dyalog\Dyalog APL-64 14.1 Unicode\cwdya62u64w Using default translation no aplunicd.ini present
Is aplunicd.ini really missing? or a missing path somewhere?
I see aplunicd.ini present in the APL install folder.
Thanks in advance,
//W

Hi Woody,
You can safely ignore the message.
It just means that it is using default translation.
It refers to a table which is only important if you want to exchange APL arrays between interpreters from different vendors (e.g. save in APL+Win, read in Dyalog APL). It is not important for “normal” operations.
Regards,
Vince
