HTMLRenderer: time line for documentation availability?
While this seems to be a welcome feature, there doesn't seem to be any documentation/demos available at present. When should we expect some?

Re: HTMLRenderer: time line for documentation availability?
Hi Randy
The documentation has been available in the Documentation Centre since the release of Dyalog version 16.0 – see http://docs.dyalog.com/16.0/Dyalog%20Ex ... nderer.pdf
It is still evolving but there should be sufficient information in there to get you started.
In addition, Brian gave a presentation on the HTMLRenderer at Dyalog '17; although the video has not yet been published, you can download his slides from https://www.dyalog.com/user-meetings/dyalog17.htm (presentation D09). The video will hopefully be available by the end of November.
I hope that helps but please let me know if there's anything in particular that you can't find documentation for.
Thanks. Fiona

Re: HTMLRenderer: time line for documentation availability?
Thank you for this information, Fiona. It looks like browser functionality is now covered via APL.

Re: HTMLRenderer: time line for documentation availability?
Is there any documentation on the required resources (files) for HTMLRenderer distribution? Any license and runtime requirements?

Re: HTMLRenderer: time line for documentation availability?
Hi Norbert,
Sorry for the long delay in answering!
Here is a list of HTMLRenderer related files for Dyalog for Windows:
The three main ones are
AplWrapper.dll
http.dll
HttpInterceptor.dll
These are likely to change as bugs are fixed.
For a runtime environment you’ll also need:
cef.pak
cef_100_percent.pak
cef_200_percent.pak
cef_extensions.pak
chrome_elf.dll
d3dcompiler_43.dll
d3dcompiler_47.dll
devtools_resources.pak
icudtl.dat
libcef.dll
libEGL.dll
libGLESv2.dll
locales/*
natives_blob.bin
snapshot_blob.bin
widevinecdmadapter.dll
HTMLRenderer is implemented using the Chromium Embedded Framework and you can read more about it here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_ ... _Framework
Regards,
Vince

Just got version 17.0; HTMLRenderer is noticeably faster. ++
