Error message mentioned a high priority callback?

Postby Vince|Dyalog on Mon Sep 03, 2012 9:48 am

High priority callbacks are those for certain events such as the Configure event (if full drag is enabled on the system). We execute these callbacks within a Windows callback and this imposes certain restrictions on what Dyalog can do in this situation. Consequently, we don't allow :Hold within these High priority callbacks as we cannot run the other thread and this would be a DeadLock situation.

Here is a list of events whose callbacks are high priority:
Configure (when Full Drag is enabled on the system)
    ExitWindows
    DateTimeChange
    DockStart
    DockCancel
    DropDown
    Fix
    Format
    AfterFix
    ScriptCompilerError
    GetTipText
