Dyalog '15 User Meeting - Italy

Hurry up and book the dates in your diary now – the Dyalog '15 User Meeting will take place in Sicily, September 6-10 (both days inclusive).

The venue for this year's meeting is the Atahotel, Naxos Beach - a modern, well-equipped Congress Center - 50 km north of Catania's Fontanarossa airport (50 minutes by taxi). Frequent flights from London Gatwick and Rome make these airports ideal for intercontinental connections; direct flights are available from many European airports.

Those with a bit more sense of adventure, or who want to take the opportunity to drive though Italy, can take the ferry from the mainland to Messina on Sicily, and from there it's an easy drive on Highway 18. The Venue has ample parking (unattended).

As usual, members of the Dyalog team will be presenting a recent release of the interpreter and surrounding tools - version 14.1 is due to be released in May. We will also discuss ideas for things to come - this year we will be looking forward to version 15.0, and expect to presenting a number of potential language enhancements and proposed development tools. We will be running workshops and hands-on training sessions, aimed at helping you take advantage of the Dyalog platform, all day Sunday and Thursday afternoon.

We hope that many of you will enrich us with presentations of work that you have done recently, tell us how you are taking advantage of Dyalog technology, and perhaps make suggestions from the podium, to guide our work in the years to come.

We are about to begin our detailed planning for the event. As always, we encourage you to let us know of you have any particular topics you would like us to present – especially with respect to the training sessions. We are eager to receive your proposal for topics that you might present, on applications and end-user experiences.

Please contact conference@dyalog.com with any suggestions you may have.
