Welcome

Another new year has dawned for all of us, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a happy and prosperous 2015.

Dyalog Ltd had another good year in 2014 – and as you will gather from this issue of Dyalogue, 2015 already looks to be a very busy year. The spring is already full of user meetings, and I have never seen my April diary so fully booked so early in the year.

One of the reasons is that we have taken initiative to conduct North America User meetings. DYNA 2015 will take place in Princeton, NJ, on April 20-21. Please register your delegates as soon as possible. You can see more here.

In the article called Other news from Dyalog, you will see that we currently have an opening for an Interface Developer, based in the office in Bramley, UK. Please do not hesitate to spread the word to any candidate you think might be suitable, and encourage them to submit their CV to careers@dyalog.com.

HOT OFF THE PRESS – Optima Systems – a long-standing Dyalog customer, based in Crawley UK, has been nominated as a Finalist in the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards in the category "International Business of the Year". As this is the year where Optima Systems is also coming of age, celebrating their 25th anniversary, we're all crossing our fingers that they take home the accolade. We will wait with baited breath until the Awards Ceremony on the 19th March 2015.

In this issue of Dyalogue we also present you with the highlights of Version 14.1 which is coming along very nicely indeed, and we also have a fantastic case study on the Laser Learning NFC solution Chris 'Ziggi' Paul has developed for Langley Hall Primary Academy.

Last - but certainly not least – don't forget to enter the dates for Dyalog '15 in your diary. Dyalog '15 will take place September 6-10 (both days inclusive) on Sicily in Italy.

Enjoy your reading!
