Other news from Dyalog

Unregistered version of Dyalog APL 14.0 for Windows

In 2011 we released an unregistered version of Dyalog APL 13.0 for Windows. This unregistered version is functionally identical to registered versions, except that there is no runtime, and the 'About' box is displayed for a few seconds at startup, when Dyalog is closed and from time to time while the APL session is active.

We have now updated the unregistered version to Dyalog APL 14.0 for Windows, which includes features such as function trains, Key, Rank and Tally.

The unregistered version allows people to experiment without the need to supply Dyalog Ltd with any personal information, thereby encouraging a wider adoption of APL. It is our hope that people who find Dyalog exciting and useful, will then contact us to obtain a registered version for further use.

We encourage all existing APLers to promote the unregistered version, as well as tryapl.org to anyone who shows an interest in APL. Please continue to help us spread the word about APL.
