Service Oriented APL – flavour of the month in June

June is traditionally the "spring conference month" and again this year we were happy to get the opportunity to give Dyalog presentations at the following events:

• FinnAPL in Helsinki Finland
• APL Germany in Hannover
• The BAA AGM in London.

The overall theme for all presentations was "Service Oriented APL", with a focus on demonstrating how to use Conga to build secure web servers and "Stand Alone Web Services" which are portable across all Dyalog platforms and with no requirement for any dedicated "Web Infrastructure". These may be tough topics for APLers but we were gratified to note that there was significant interest from the audiences.

"Service Oriented APL" will be written up as an article for Vector (planned in due time for publication in Vector 23.4 in September).
